Joseph R. Coulson

Joseph R. Coulson, Senior Financial Advisor, joined Grand Strategy Capital, LLC, in August of 2016 after working in finance and investment management for the past 30 years.  Early in his career he worked in municipal finance as an investment banker structuring bond issues.  In 2000, he left municipal finance to come back to Charlottesville and manage finances and investments for individuals and institutions.  Since business school he has been captivated by finance and economics and has used this enthusiasm to manage his client’s wealth.  In Charlottesville, he is an active University of Virginia alumni member and Tandem Parent.  He enjoys competitive squash and the local music scene.
